2021 Libby Harricks Memorial Oration

Professor Harvey Coates AO (Earbus Patron) presented the 2021 Libby Harricks Memorial Oration via webcast this month on Indigenous Ear and Hearing Health — Tackling the Silent Epidemic. Harvey’s lifelong interest in otitis media in Aboriginal children has included clinical outreach in remote Australia and the South Pacific, and working with WHO and national/international Committees. It was a great event in Perth hosted by Deafness Council WA and Telethon Kids Institute.

State of the Ears

Earbus Foundation of WA is excited to present State of the Ears, a unique and detailed data snapshot from six years of working across regional and remote WA. Honouring Harvey Coates

Earbus Foundation is proud to announce a 4-year partnership with Griffith University in Queensland to create the Harvey Coates Research Scholarship honouring our patron Professor Harvey Coates AO. Earbus support will fund a PhD student to conduct Otitis media research in Griffith University’s Institute of Glycomics on the Gold Coast.
